I hope that your parents are educated people and they really understand that you have never felt like this before about Gloria. I hope attitudes with your parents have begun to change and become more tolerant. Secondly, tell them you understand their opinion and you have your own head and you just want that parents began to trust you. And finally, you should introduce Gloria to your parents and give the the chance to get know her.
